@release-it/conventional-changelog's release frequency is sporadic. It began with several releases in mid-2019 and early 2020, followed by periods of inactivity. Releases picked up in 2021 and 2022. 2023 saw releases in July, September and November. In 2024 releases happened in September, October, November and December. Then in 2025 releases happened in January and April. There have been no releases in the past 3 months.

Downloads steadily increased throughout 2024, peaking in November (806K). 2025 has seen continued high download numbers.
